With those words, Ran Cohen, Co-founder & CEO of BridgerPay, opened an unforgettable evening.

But more than a greeting, this moment marked the beginning of a new chapter, one built on connection, collaboration, and the belief that payments should be a growth engine, not a source of friction.

Tali shared the remarkable evolution of Shva – from a national ATM operator to a pivotal infrastructure enabler, driving Israel’s secure and seamless payments ecosystem.

She highlighted how Shva’s expansion of 3D Secure (3DS) across the Israeli market is more than a compliance measure - it's an industry-wide move toward faster, smarter, and safer transactions. Tali emphasized the balance Shva strives to maintain between regulation, innovation, and merchant flexibility, especially as the demand for real-time, frictionless payments continues to grow.

Behind the scenes: The journey of a single payment

Ran took the audience on a virtual journey - the life of a payment processed through BridgerPay. What begins as a simple “click to pay” unfolds into a deeply orchestrated process:

Customer clicks “Pay” - a simple gesture that sparks a highly complex journey.


Localization kicks in - the currency, language, and payment method are tailored in real-time.


Card type and region are analyzed, the transaction is routed accordingly.


Security flows activate - including a single, seamless 3DS2 authentication, improving both safety and experience.


If the transaction fails due to technical reasons, Bridger Retry™ steps in.


The platform reroutes the transaction behind the scenes - up to three retries, each with a new PSP, invisible to the customer.


The result? A previously declined transaction is now approved.


In 2025 alone, BridgerPay saved over $500 million for clients using this method.

A historic collaboration

BridgerPay unveiled a strategic partnership between BridgerPay and Shva.

This collaboration unites BridgerPay’s global orchestration technology with Shva’s national infrastructure, creating the world’s first truly unified global-local payment layer.
